I live in Peachtree City, Fayette County, GA and have been active in promoting bicycle and pedestrian safety and infrastructure since 2014. I have been supporting other stakeholders and local government planners to advance consideration of bicycle and pedestrian requirements in community planning and resourcing.
There are significant ongoing active transportation master path & trail planning and future funding activities across the Atlanta Regional Commission (ARC) and the Atlanta Southern Crescent region, which includes from West to East - Coweta, Fayette, Clayton, Spalding and Henry Counties.
I am also actively working to pull together these communities and stakeholders to pursue a Rail-to-Trail / Rail-with-Trail project to span 30 miles from Senoia thru Fayette County to Griffin and Henry County - the Southern Crescent Trail.
